Congratulations to Sam Pippia for being selected as the winner of the Kieran Brown Annual Memorial Flying Scholarship for 2024.

In Sam's words "it's like the universe is giving me the chance of a lifetime".

Sam is a year 10 student at St Laurence's College, South Brisbane and has always held a deep passion for aviation. He has over 300 hours on Microsoft Flight Simulator, enjoys flying his drone, crafting model aircraft and is currently a cadet photographer for St Laurence's College. Sam's Mum, Cara says "he is forever looking at the sky, on flight radar seeing what plane is around, or wanting to go sit at the airport to watch the planes come in and take off!"
